A law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join their Indianapolis, IN office. The candidate will primarily handle motor vehicle accident cases in pre-litigation and litigation, with the possibility of working on other personal injury matters such as dog bites and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to manage a significant caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day handling of motor vehicle accident cases in both pre-litigation and litigation phases.
• Draft and file various litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the legal process, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including conducting conferences, drafting expert reports, and preparing affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Participate in training programs and seminars, potentially outside of regular business hours.
• Manage a caseload of 50+ litigation cases with efficiency and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Indiana Bar License is required.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana.
