This role supports revenue management, pricing, and other teams across the Commercial Division by providing analysis and reporting that will deliver actionable insight. Projects range in focus from implementation of new systems to design and improvement of reporting and internal processes to application of decision science for business decisions.
Serve as liaison between users of analytical tools and technical teams, facilitating timely access and appropriate use of analytical tools to revenue management, pricing and the commercial division
Develop, enhance, and QC automated data products and reporting to provide insight into revenue results
Develop commercial decision-making support tools to clearly and effectively communicate relevant information to decision makers
Facilitate ad-hoc reporting requests, providing insightful analysis
Incorporate new data sources into existing reports and databases
Participate in special projects or ad-hoc analyses in the commercial area, providing data architectural oversight
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
Expert in T-SQL, familiar with the utilization of views, dynamic SQL and stored procedures
Understanding of relational database architecture and the ability to merge large data sets from disparate sources, and creating data validation code to ensure accuracy
Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly related to the visual display of quantitive information
Ability to effectively synthesize and draw conclusions from complex data
Experienced with ETL concepts and tools such as Alteryx, SIS, or ODI
Mastery of analytical tools, including spreadsheet modeling, statistical analysis tools, and computational software
Graduate degree in operations research, computer science, statistics or similar quantitative discipline
Experience with basic Revenue Management concepts
Experience programming in Java, .Net, Visual Basic, R, Python
Demonstrated strong leadership skills
Demonstrated project management success
