The candidate provide optimum legal services to a healthcare liability insurance company. Senior legal advisor to Chief Legal Counsel and other Executive Management. Prepare and review corporate transactional documents. Prepare state insurance regulatory filings. Advise on laws, regulations and decisions affecting business. Conduct trainings and lectures on key legal and compliance issues. Research legal matters and provide concise, clear memorandum. \Advise claims division on insurance coverage matters . J.D. in good standing required. Undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics or statistics desired. 5 years’ experience-- in private practice or as in house counsel with a medical professional liability insurer--concentrating on medical professional liability insurance and insurance regulatory matters required. Significant experience interpreting and/or drafting insurance policies is needed.
