Compliance Consultant
The candidate will report, communicate, and research laws at the advanced level, regulations, requirements, regulatory audits, and/or exams. Provide advanced level support to regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, and risk assessments. Analyze and extract regulatory data, and documentation for compliance with requirements. Participate in compliance monitoring to identify process gaps, validate compliance levels, map processes, and draft corrective actions/remediation plans. Conduct investigations, document findings, update stakeholders and leadership on developments, comply with notification requirements, and ensure corrective actions are made. Should have a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. The ability to travel may be required. Should preferably have 2+ years of experience in health insurance investigation and or pharmacy/audit. Comprehensive, practical knowledge of complex and diverse fraud investigative techniques and methodologies utilized in program audits. Understanding of and experience with Medicare/Medicaid requirements preferred. Prior experience working with FBI, HHS-OIG Assistant U.S. Attorneys, or State Attorney Generals helpful. Professional certification of CFE, AHFI, CPC, Paralegal, RN, JD, or other job-related designation preferred.
