Duties:

• Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
• Engage in client communication and case updates.
• Lead mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft necessary pleadings and motions.
• Develop case strategies tailored to each client.
• Represent clients in court and lead jury trials as the first chair.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Proven track record of handling 1st chair jury trials.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Experience in drafting and responding to motions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Massachusetts State Bar membership is required.

Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a legal team.
• Skilled in negotiation, mediation, and trial proceedings.
• Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
