OVERVIEWApplying project management skills while completing the procurement and coordination of all planned medical equipment within hospitals and clinics. GOALS\r
Successfully manage the medical equipment procurement & installation scope for healthcare projectsEnsure client satisfaction throughout the procurement & coordination processCultivate lasting professional client relationships throughout the projectEnsure all procurement & coordination planning activities are performed in a manner consistent with documented processesMaintain appropriate level of communication to client throughout the projectEnsure compliance with all key performance indicators\r
Provide professional customer interface and client relationsReview medical equipment list and floor plans for accuracyMaintain client and vendor equipment standardsMaintain knowledge and understanding of all planned equipment and products.Build and manage an equipment procurement scheduleDrive the procurement process and ensure all scheduled milestones are metDetermine equipment schedule and install requirementsObtain competitive quotes from vendors & negotiate pricing when applicableMaintain overall equipment budgetManage approval process for requisitionsManage procurement process and equipment coordination process on site and remotelyReview & track purchase orders with accounts payableGenerate reports using Microsoft ExcelConduct medical equipment inventoriesSet daily priorities to meet established project deadlines.Develop equipment install strategy for vendor deliveriesCoordinate the delivery, installation & setup of all medical equipment with multiple vendorsConduct client meetings both on site and virtual Attend off-site & remote project meetingsCoordinate check-in of all medical equipment with appropriate entitiesCoordinate product/procurement logistics with transportation vendorsProvide on-site management for vendor deliveriesReview floor plans and determine equipment locationsManage equipment returns and resolve outstanding issuesCreate and manage equipment in servicingCreate and manage a project task listProduce project closeout documents\r
Associates Degree Required in relative majorBachelor Degree Preferred in relative major2 or more years of healthcare and/or clinical experience1 or more years of medical equipment coordination and/or procurement experience, preferredKnowledge of hospital/clinic department functionsKnowledge of architectural and construction schedules, preferredBackground in Project Management, Construction Management, Design, or project strategy planning, desirableProject Management experience, preferredVast knowledge of medical equipment for clinics and acute care facilitiesStrong organization and multitasking skillsAbility to quickly learn new procedures, build processes and navigate new technologyStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and follow up skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to deliver information and create reports based on a clients’ needsAbility to interpret and/or read architectural drawings and floor plans, preferredAbility to work on and complete multiple projectsMust be detail orientated and work well with othersMust be able to meet stringent deadlinesBasic working knowledge of construction plansMust be able to act in a support role and lead role depending on project phaseAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and WordBlueBeam experience, preferredAttainia experience, preferred\r
