Project Assistant-Litigation
The candidate will follow the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct of the State. Assist with management and organization of litigation case files to include document retrieval, bates labeling and indexing of documents for production, coding of documents, witness file preparation and other tasks related to general discovery preparation. Assist with the preparation and service of pleadings, court filings and discovery documents. Assist with the maintenance of pleadings, correspondence and related case files for use by case team, including updating shared drives. Assist with pre-trial and trial preparation including preparation of deposition designations, trial exhibits, and compilation of related trial examination binders. Assist with monitoring and calendaring of important hearings and court dates for attorneys. Conduct basic database and internet research and work with various computer applications. Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing and filing. Assist attorneys and other paralegals with assigned projects. Record daily time entries in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Firm. Perform administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, filing.
