Experience, experience, and more experience is what defines our summer program.

Our summer program is open to all first-year law students who attend a Georgia law school following their first year. We believe in hiring only the most promising and highly-motivated students for our summer program. Most importantly, we hire students who want to help people.

To apply, here's what you need to know:

We accept resumes beginning on the 1st day of January each year

We stop accepting resumes on the 1st day of March each year

We extend offers on the 1st day of April each year

The summer program lasts twelve weeks. During the summer, you are immersed in all aspects of pre-trial litigation and the business of law. You have client and witness contact. You draft real motions and real legal briefs. You receive an experience rarely found in other summer programs.

From the start, you are involved in ongoing legal cases and given a high level of autonomy and responsibility. The responsibilities delegated to our summer law clerks include drafting correspondence, discovery, and other pleadings, communicating with clients, conducting investigations, preparing for trial, and helping with all other matters associated with pre-trial litigation.

While our work environment is relaxed, the work load is rigorous. Summer law clerks are expected to accomplish all tasks set before them while maintaining the standards of professionalism and excellence that our firm promotes.

Because of the unique nature of our program, a law clerk who is interested in learning the practice of law stands to gain a year's worth of experience in one summer.
