Advanced Client Data Solutions Team Lead
The candidate will supervise Advanced Client Data Solutions Advisors, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators. Assist Advanced Client Data Solutions Managers and Senior Managers in establishing and enforcing policies, processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures. Consult with case teams and clients to develop analytics and machine learning strategies and custom workflows, and ensure their successful execution in complex litigation and investigations. Consult with case teams and clients on eDiscovery technology and best practices. Lead complex litigation support projects as primary point of contact and manage all activities and workflows. Act as a technical advisor and conduct training on analytics, machine learning, and review tools for case teams and Advanced Client Data Solutions personnel. Encourage case teams to leverage internal resources and the firm’s managed services program. Develop and execute on strategies for disparate data sources, including structured, unstructured, mobile, and cloud data. Anticipate, prevent, identify, and resolve issues. Enforce maintenance of defensible documentation on all cases at all times. Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget, and that case teams are always kept up-to-date. Ensure appropriate tasks are delegated to vendors and internal resources. Assist and take initiative with firm and departmental projects as required. Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services. All members of the firm are expected to participate in the Global Citizenship program. Degree in computer science, data analytics, information management, or related field is a plus. Should have 5+ years experience leading large eDiscovery projects that leverage unstructured and structured data analytics, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, and technology enabled workflow. Should have 5+ years experience supervising eDiscovery personnel and leading team(s) with executing tasks on both a client delivery and enterprise/group level. Litigation experience as a practicing lawyer is a plus. Management experience is preferred. Technical experience with the enrichment of data, application of data science modeling and the interrogation of structured and unstructured data is a plus. Review management experience is a plus. Contract Analysis Analytics and workflows are desired. Advanced proficiency in relativity, including Structured and Conceptual Analytics, Brainspace, NexLP, Reveal AI, OpenText Magellan, or other similar solution, Microsoft Office products including Teams, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Data processing tools such as NUIX, RelProcessing, or Mindseye; Cellebrite Reader and analyzing UFDR reports; Leading early data assessment interviews with senior business and IT leaders within global organizations and being able to memorialize in written form is required. Proficiency in building a team of Analytics Advisors and managing personnel in multiple offices and remotely is required. Advanced understanding of the use of TAR strategies for different types of legal matters ranging from multinational investigations, international arbitrations, civil litigations bound by ESI or TAR protocols, Second Requests by DOJ or FTC, and transactional matters from Corporate teams is required. Demonstrated knowledge of frameworks for TAR 1.0, TAR 2.0, High Precision Classification (“HPC”) and continuous multi-modal learning (“CMML”);models is required. Fluency with the use of NexLP’s emotional and linguistic intelligence and communication analysis features is required. Expertise with Conceptual and Clustering strategies and the ability to test and refine search terms with data driven techniques is required. Proficiency with Relativity Structured and Conceptual Analytics is required. Complex workflow development and with knowledge of leading edge technologies is required. Hands-on experience with statistical analysis for validation and sampling is required. Superior understanding of eDiscovery best practices, including preservation, collection, culling, processing, review, analysis, validation, and production protocols is required. RCA, Relativity Analytics, Reveal AI and/or Brainspace certifications is a plus.
