Sales Tax Manager
The candidate will be assisting with consulting and research and writing projects related to multistate sales tax issues, including, nexus, audit defense, structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and taxability Studies. Coordinating and collaborating with other in-house tax professionals and clients. Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to assist with resolving client matters. Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field and 5+years of experience in sales tax consulting. A CPA or CMI, or another advanced degree in an equivalent field, including M.S. Taxation or J.D. is desired. Understanding tax research tools (e.g., CCH, BNA, RIA) is a plus. Experience with state tax research and analysis with excellent communication skills, including writing and Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is needed.
