Job Overview:
A prominent law firm seeks a seasoned attorney with 8 years of expertise in commercial leasing to join its dynamic Real Estate Group. This role involves leading lease negotiations and fostering strong client relationships in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

• Lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and associated agreements, including term sheets and letters of intent.
• Supervise junior leasing attorneys and guide as needed.
• Engage directly with clients, opposing counsel, and brokers.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in both verbal and written formats.
• Deliver timely and high-quality legal work.
• Cultivate positive relationships within the team and with clients.
• Adhere to all firm policies and procedures.
• Perform both sedentary and physical tasks related to the role.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years in commercial lease drafting and negotiation.
• Proven experience in managing a variety of lease types, including office and retail.
• Familiarity with landlord representation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications:

• Admission to the California Bar

Skills:

• Deep understanding of the commercial leasing market.
