CLE / Training Manager

The candidate will be responsible for: Work with Department Chairs to design and implement practice specific training programs. Manage the Firm’s skills development program. Manage the Firm’s monthly Lunch & Learn programs. Manage programs with external vendors. Review all course materials for CLE compliance and assist in preparation and distribution. Work with Marketing Department and attorneys on accrediting client programs in jurisdictions requiring MCLE. Assume leadership role on large projects such as Partner Retreat, Associate Retreat, First Year Associate Orientation, and Mock Trial program. Create and oversee budget for training programs. Assure attorney CLE Compliance. Oversee process for monitoring CLE compliance in relevant jurisdictions. Maintain expertise in CLE accreditation requirements and ensure that programs comply with CLE regulations. Liaise with state CLE Boards and oversee annual renewal applications. Monitor CLE sites for rule changes. Work with Firm General Counsel to ensure all attorneys remain compliant. Maintain the Firm’s internal CLE webpage. Other related duties and projects, as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in related field required, JD degree preferred. Familiarity with law firm administration preferred. Law Firm experience working as a practicing attorney with 3+ years of experience a plus. Knowledge of CLE regulations and procedures required. Must be highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, and database management systems. Knowledge of Micron CE manager and ViDesktop a plus.
