Aon is looking for a QA Engineer As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of NVG’s Aon IP Solutions business group.  This position is in our Spokane, WA office. Your impact as a QA Engineer As a QA Engineer for the Aon IP Solutions group, you are responsible for the creation, preparation, and execution of quality assurance test plans and test scripts. Perform testing of complex, data-driven web applications in a variety of test environments. This position requires leveraging an understanding of the application environment as well as requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with testing best practices and functional requirements. Job Responsibilities: Design and implement clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases with requirements traceability.Report and verify the resolution of software and specification defects.Monitor and investigate log errors generated by the system(s). Support production deployments and post verification.Support investigation and troubleshooting of production issues.Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.Recommend and evaluate new testing tools and methodologies. You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience and Characteristics: 3 years of software testing experience.Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in multiple types of testing (e.g., Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT).Knowledge of complex SQL queries and data validation.Experience with API/web service testing.Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodologies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Is adaptable to a rapid changing environment, requirements, and priorities.Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.Preferred Experience: Experience with UI web-based test automation and tooling such as Cypress or Selenium. Experience with programming/scripting languages such as C# or Python.
