The Director of Digital Enablement reports to the Vice President of Special Projects and is part of the Enterprise Services team. This newly created position leads the digital effort to ensure create an enterprise-wide ecosystem allowing the March of Dimes to efficiently deliver mission related products and programs.

The Director of Digital Enablement is

responsible to ensure cultivate a digital enablement mindset for our product creation, product delivery, as well as our employee and donor culture by leading collaboration and standardization across the organization to connect digital to all aspects of revenue, mission and operations to drive growth opportunities and innovative solutions in a virtual environment. The position embeds “real productivity” capabilities across the operating model to achieve sustainable bottom-line impact in the most effective and efficient way possible.

The individual in this role is constantly enhancing and adding new ways for March of Dimes to interact with its donors, supporters and mission impacted constituents leveraging technology further defining how digital platforms enhance a target audience’s engagement journey. The position is responsible for the definition, design, and development of new capabilities and solutions for both existing as well as new platforms within the organization and partners closely with other national departments to ensure successful implementation to achieve the organization’s mission and revenue objectives.

Position Responsibilities


Collaborate with and provide specific guidance to teams leads across digital ecosystems on integrated programs that drive target audiences from awareness through engagement.

Uncover business and end-user needs that lead to innovative digital recommendations that optimize the organization’s operating model, making it more efficient and simplifying organizational structures when relevant.

Manage operational planning and delivery of key strategic digital solutions.

Interface with 3rd party vendors and contractors, where required, to deliver necessary pieces of digital strategy priorities.

Partner with revenue, mission, marketing and operations teams to help identify, develop, support and implement strategic digital innovations and capabilities, translating business strategies and user needs into digital solutions to meet revenue and mission objectives.

Analyze granular data, problem solve and providing big-picture thinking. Communicate complex data with clear and actionable insights. Pivot strategies according to what the data is suggesting.

Stay abreast of industry best practices, new digital intelligence technologies and advancements in digital measurement to ensure March of Dimes is always improving and delivering advanced, innovative solutions for our donors, supporters and staff in order to meet business objectives.

Identify, implement and report on digital solutions grounded in insights to inform KPIs and create integrated dashboards for monitoring performance against established KPIs.

Define 3-year digital capability roadmaps in line with strategic priorities.

Position Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s degree required

7+ years of previous digital strategy experience

Proven abilities to plan, manage, deliver, and support strategic digital capability programs, from concept initiation through delivery and steady-state operations

Previous digital product management experience

Previous experience with Data Warehouse scope, design and technical architecture including integration

Previous experience with Revolution Online or non-profit CRM a plus

Proven analytical skills coupled with financial acumen

Understanding of website/app development processes

Ability to lead IA/sitemap development, UX research, event tracking/goal conversion planning and digital content strategy, leverage target audience/SEO research

Firm grasp of emerging and current digital tools

Ability to understand the application of digital analytics to strategic communications and brand-building programs as well as broad business needs

Dashboard creation and full-funnel performance reporting leveraging Power-BI from disparate technologies such as Marketo, ROI, Lotame, etc. is a plus

B2C and B2B email marketing experience, with ability to contribute to vendor audits, strategy development, content planning, implementation and measurement

Superior cross-functional collaboration skills

Proficiency in Power-BI platforms; Tableau, SQL and NetSuite, a plus

Experience leading CRM/automation marketing programs, a plus

Experience working with CRM outputs and integrating relevant data into dashboard reporting tools, a plus

Advanced knowledge of web analytics implementation best practices, and hands-on practical experience managing complex implementations, a plus

Social media strategy, community management or listening experience, a plus
