Summary

Cleans and maintains public areas of the complex.  ***Must have experience operating floor care equipment.***        

Job Duties

Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of all floor space, including but not limited to vacuum, mop, ban/broom, dusting, polishing, shining and glassware.

Responsible for the safe and effective operation of heavy duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving of furniture, ground areas and other tasks necessary.

Promptly reports any maintenance problems with equipment and needed supplies. Acts as the lead in absence of Public Area Department Supervisor.

May be asked to assist with PAD Attendant duties as described in the PAD Attendant Job Description.

Safely and effectively operates floor care equipment including but not limited to wide area vacuum, scrubber, extractor, carpet spotter, and escalator cleaner in compliance with established procedures. 

Floor care to include carpet, marble, and tile. 

Cleans upholstery in compliance with established procedures. 

Removes gum from carpet and equipment. 

Deep cleans restaurants according to the standard of operation procedures.

Complies with OSHA policies and procedures.

Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Qualifications

Previous experience in care and maintenance of floor surfaces, including but not limited to carpet, marble, and tile.

Previous experience in a large cleaning operation.

Ability to communicate clearly in English. 

Must be able to work in smoking environments. 

Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. 

Must have a thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
