Residential Post Closing Associate
Duties: Receives, reviews, tracks, and monitors residential and consumer loans. Scan and file the executed closing packages documents and legal documents subsequently returned from recording agencies. Assists with the setup of auto payments on residential loans and other duties as assigned. Reviews post-closing packages for proper document execution and receipt. Works with lenders, bank counsel, borrowers and borrowers counsel to ensure required post closing documentation is received, monitored and maintained. Maintains tracking system and produce series of letters to appropriate parties requesting missing documents. Reviews new residential loan files to ensure that all documents on checklist are received, scanned, and filed. Sets up auto debit payments on new and existing residential and consumer loans. Assists the loan servicing supervisor with the daily, weekly, and monthly loan index rate updates for adjustable loans. Assists the department with special projects as assigned by the loan servicing managers. Understands compliance with all regulations governing the banking industry, as well as agency guidelines and organization policies. Understands the compliance requirements for Loan Servicing Operations to ensure files are maintained in accordance with regulations.
