OverviewBlue Buffalo is approaching $2B in sales and is the leader in the natural pet food segment.  The Senior Brand Manager will develop and oversee execution of high priority brand strategies to accelerate our next phase of growth, orchestrating brand initiatives and developing the greater marketing team in support of business objectives. Key Accountabilities·         Deeply understand the pet parent·         Own rolling 2-year brand plan·         Develop and oversee execution of strategies for the business that drive sustainable brand growth and deliver financial forecast (RNS & Profit)·         Lead cross-functional team through development and execution of brand building ideas across 4Ps to profitably win with key customers and close gap to financial and volume targets ·         Review monthly and quarterly P&L data to inform shifts to plans to deliver financial targets·         Propose how projects are resourced and navigate organization to secure cross-functional resources·         Prioritize business opportunities so cross-functional team can deliver consumer-first solutions·         Balance and prioritize the role of innovation, renovation, distribution, trade, promotions/comms in achieving brand growth target·         Empower and coach team to pursue innovative growth opportunities that invest in our future·         Ensure execution across 4Ps is consistent with brand foundation·         Engage in forecasting process to help deliver demand plan·         Drive product development agenda and coordinates new product launches·         Works with Sales to prioritize against key brand strategies Minimum Qualifications·         Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of work/internship experience, ideally background in:•       CPG Brand Management or P&L Ownership/General Management experience·         Large, matrixed organization experience·         Success in leading & coaching others Preferred Qualifications·         MBA·         Experience as Brand Manager or similar role·         Ability to strategically choose levers to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health·         Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line driversComfortable pitching brand plans to internal and external customer stakeholdersAbility to identify and evaluate brand building ideas across 4Ps and make connections across other brands in portfolioAbility to determine how to use 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals·         Demonstrate comfort and capability with brands in all stages of growth·         Must be able to work in environment with free-roaming companion pets·         Pet parent preferred
