Manager of Career Coaching
The candidate will coach lawyers and professional staff one-on-one to identify and achieve their career goals. Assist the Director, Career Coaching, with the management of the Coaching program, including compiling data, tracking participation, communicating with outside vendors, and budgeting. Develop and present programs on coaching-related topics to diverse audiences, as well as programs promoting. Collaborate with various functions within the firm, such as Learning & Professional Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Goodwin Experience Initiative to promote Goodwin’s culture. Collaborate with business unit leaders, attorney development managers and HR business partners to identify appropriate coaching resources. Keep abreast of developments in the talent development industry and identify opportunities for innovation or greater efficiency. Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent required. Juris Doctor strongly preferred. Should have 5 years of experience in executive coaching preferred. A coaching certificate from an accredited coaching program and an ICF accreditation. Sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information. Relevant and significant experience in a law firm administration role. Knows industry best practices with respect to career and executive coaching and resources in the marketplace. Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding presentation skills; confident speaking before large groups. Excellent attention to detail; strong project management skills. Consummate team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and business units. Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple concurrent projects. Demonstrated ability to organize, delegate, coordinate, monitor, and control activities, resources, and costs. Willingness/ability to travel to other office locations.
