Customer-Level Analytics Manager

The Position

The Customer-Level Analytics Manager will join the greater Analytics team to identify significant solutions that will help LendingTree optimize 1:1 communications with our customers. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in analyzing large datasets at a customer-level and is well-versed in analyzing customer attributes, web/mobile/app behavior patterns, and email engagement.

You will partner with leaders of our businesses to convert ambiguous business problems into analytical frameworks and collaborate with business partners to help them understand the data that drives the business. The desired outcome is to find the pockets of opportunity to identify next best action or product for our customers.

Responsibilities

Drive critical thinking and cross-functional alignment around data-driven approach to optimize product and marketing efforts (inclusive of experimentation) based on customer segments, lifecycle stages, and other critical customer attributes.

Partner with Marketing organization to develop world-class CRM capabilities including optimization of personalized marketing communications and high-velocity testing.

Lead the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning.

Manipulate datasets to identify patterns and translate the resulting insights to your partners.

Track results of strategic business initiatives to resolve whether the outcome was a success; support development and conclusion of A/B testing.

Perform industry research by combining internal and external data sources into concise, meaningful summaries.

Communicate and defend recommendations to various functional leaders.

Skills and experience

5 years of experience working in web, product, marketing, or other related analytics fields.

3 years of experience working with customer data in CRM analytics, customer analytics, customer lifecycle marketing, or related field/function.

Proven ability to deeply analyze customer data to advise marketing and product decisions.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business, or similar quantitative field.

Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating partners to act on recommendations.

Pragmatic: you know the 80/20 rule and know when to boil the ocean and when not to. The solutions you develop are understandable and implementable.

Proficiency in software required to manipulate large data sets such as SQL, Python, R, Excel.

Close coordination and knowledge/data sharing with counterparts who share goals and responsibilities.
