A law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney - EOIR in Irving, TX. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to represent clients in immigration matters, including court appearances. The role involves managing a caseload, collaborating with a team, and providing strategic legal solutions.

Duties

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a diverse caseload and conduct intakes with detained individuals.
• Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration application packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes.
• Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients for court/USCIS testimony.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Ability to manage a caseload and move legal cases forward.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.
• Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law.
