Core Tax Services Experienced Senior Associate

The candidate will be responsible for gathering client information necessary for filing, participating in tax planning, recognizing and communicating potential risks, preparing tax accrual workpapers and working with tax software applications to complete tax returns for review. Acting as the main client contact for general questions and information and may be charged with supervising and reviewing the work of Core Tax Services Associates. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification is required. Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation is preferred. Possession of other professional degrees or certifications applicable to role is preferred. Should preferably have 3+ years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience. Prior basic supervisory experience is preferred. CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or the equivalent of one of these designations) is preferred. Experience with tax research databases and tax compliance process software is preferred.
