Proposals Specialist
The candidate will support firm-wide development and delivery of RFP responses which includes managing the intake of incoming firm-wide RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and customized proposals, analyze all proposal documentation and initiate response protocol. Also responsible for the overall coordination and project management of the response into a cohesive proposal; communicating the proposal requirements to key team members; and the development of timelines and action plans for the efficient and timely delivery of submissions. Prepare and project manage the delivery of proposals and pitches, and other customized materials, working with the Practice Development, Business Development and Creative teams as needed. Also, coordinate all related proposal production logistical activities, including printing, distribution and delivery of the materials (including via soft copy). Support practice and industry group business development marketing and efforts by working closely with members of Practice Development and Business Development to update, maintain and manage approved practice and industry descriptions, experience information, tailored content and other standard response language used in proposals and RFPs. Regularly audit materials and work with the Business Development and Practice Development teams to maintain current versions of firm business development assets, such as industry and practice overviews, proposal components, templates and presentations. Work with the Senior Proposals Manager to monitor and maintain the Proposals Team’s existing resources and knowledge management systems, including the proposals intake log, proposals database, and proposals generator system to streamline proposal efficiencies and ensure content is updated. Work with the Senior Proposals Manager to track and report business development efforts and report pitch "wins/losses." Act as a “subject matter expert” for the firm’s proposal processes and tools and content while promoting best practices throughout all stages by providing varying levels of trusted advisor assistance to internal clients requesting proposal and pitches support, materials, etc.. Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of business development or marketing experience is required.
