Real Estate Lease Processor
The candidate will draft commercial real estate amendments and leases. Abstract leases and amendments. Review lease and amendment drafts for accuracy and completeness, and communicate findings to negotiator as it relates to property operations. Interact with landlord’s legal counsel and production personnel regarding deal point terms. Interact with client representatives and counsel for approval of amendments and leases drafted. Maintain legal files and ensure final documents are delivered to clients. Independently review and interpret legal and other documents in the context of commercial real estate. Identify legal and business issues and make recommendations regarding resolution. Ensure compliance with all client requirements, guidelines, and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience is needed. Should have 1+ years in a similar role. A JD from an ABA-approved law school or, a certified Paralegal is preferred. Should have the ability to understand, extrapolate and translate information from legal documents. Strong written communication skills: Ability to prepare written leases and amendments that are needed. Should have the ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness, think objectively, and evaluate quantitative and qualitative results. Strong organizational, logistical and time management skills. Project management skills: Ability to manage projects, competing priorities and multiple projects concurrently. Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to work cooperatively with team members and with clients. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Should be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel. Prior Commercial Leasing or Real Estate Experience in a Law Firm or Corporate Legal Department is a plus. A broad commercial real estate transactional background is a plus. Strong experience and adequate knowledge of the real estate industry. Should have the ability to analyze a telecom lease. Must have the ability to manage company affairs with the highest level of integrity.
