Corporate Attorney for Technology-Focused Law Firm

Location: Remote / Flexible
Compensation: $175 - $225 per hour, based on experience
 

Our law firm, specializing in cutting-edge technology legal issues, is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to join our team and assist with general corporate legal work for a primarily high-tech client base. The firm’s lead attorney is extremely busy with niche client projects, and we are looking for a skilled, self-sufficient attorney who can handle a range of general corporate matters with minimal supervision.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general corporate legal support for early-stage to Series B startups, with a focus on technology-focused companies.
• Manage corporate governance, entity formation, contracts, and other general corporate legal matters.
• Work directly with clients to address their legal needs, with limited guidance required from senior attorneys.
• Ability to work independently, with the flexibility to adapt to varying workloads.

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with exposure to technology and startup environments.
• Strong knowledge of general corporate matters, including entity formation, governance, and contracts.
• Experience working with early-stage to Series B tech startups is a plus.
• Big-law experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Exceptional communication and writing skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Expectations:

• Flexible hours ranging from 5-10 hours a week on average.
