The Lead Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Lead Technology Leadership Professional works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead delivery of Compliance IT solutions for the Enterprise with a heavy focus on all forms of automation including Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Learning as well as traditional platform delivery. The leader in this space will be have a strong background in managing internal organization capabilities and process interrelate across departments, people leadership skills, and extensive software engineering delivery experience.
Responsibilities
In support of Humana's vision to create simple, personalized and reliable experience for our healthcare customers, we are embarking on a Compliance Ecosystem modernization effort. One of the key strategic initiatives of the Modernization is automation and transformation of manual processes.
We are looking for a Technology leader responsible to deliver new technological solutions coordinating solutions and building integration capabilities to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The role is a highly visible role that demands a proven expertise managing transformation with focus on agility and speed to value while maintaining high standards of customer service and overall engagement success.
The Technology leader works with solution engineering and business teams to drive products from design completion to production cutover/release. Co-ordinates and performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
The leader responsibilities include, not limited to:
Managing scope, priorities, and conflicts, resolve challenges and negotiate requests, monitor and assess all work in progress including work quality, best practices and methodologies.
Gathering and documents business system and functional requirements, influences and drives technical system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements.
Driving and/or coordinating implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team.
Help lead, organize multiple teams in Release delivery readiness & quality initiatives including : Planning, Scheduling, managing program's build through their various development phases, testing, deployment, release support and communication.
Leader will own and drive deliverables of the projects, will support the solution engineering and delivery team with focus on developing strong relationships within and across cross-functional delivery squads, organize and direct the implementation of solutions thriving for delivering with highest quality, ahead of schedule and under the budget regardless of the project constraints. You should be a team player with a knack for creative design and passion to learning new ideas outside of scope or knowledge skillset.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
3 or more years of project leadership experience leading complex IT projects
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure
Solid understanding of Humana internal processes across the system development life cycle that includes demand planning, in-take management (ERM), QA, release management and cut over procedures
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Six Sigma certification
ITIL certification
