This position works with all levels in the organization to assess the needs for various business functions. Identifies and analyzes options and recommends business process enhancements and ensures conformance to compliance. The HR Systems Advisor also works with HRIS to perform tests to ensure all processes work according to the pre-determined goals identified.  This position is also responsible for identifying training needs and supports the roll out of new systems and processes.Primary ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert for all systems used within HR and evaluates their effectiveness as it relates to interdependence on the HR system workflow and making recommendations for improvements.Provides direction and support as necessary on any technology implementations, upgrades, patches, or testing.Manages systems configuration and enables effective document management, collaboration, for all HR Systems.  This includes timekeeping systems. Manages data implementation timelines by coordinating internal and external team members and functional areas to ensure deliverables are met.Provides coaching and guidance related to wage & hour compliance, FLSA standard and department of labor regulations.  Facilitates needs analysis and change management for enhancements to current applications and new systems and recommends process and/or systems improvements related to the operations of the human resources systems.Develops communications for system changes to all of HR, management, and other employees as needed.Builds and sustains relationships to ensure timely solutions. Acts as a liaison and subject matter expert partnering closely with internal and/or vendor business and technical staff to achieve business results.Measures systems performance and availability as required by other business applications and processes.Manages the transition configures new business processes, as well as enhancements to existing business processes.May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.','!*!Education/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management or related field preferred and 8 years of relevant experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS/HRMS required. Experience with KRONOS, ADP Eetime, ADP Ev5, and/or Workday required. Minimum 4 years of experience in business process analysis and project management with responsibility for completion of HR systems projects. Experience with payroll and benefits strongly preferred. Proficient knowledge Microsoft Applications (includes: Excel, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook). Excellent computer skills (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, database software and Windows). Ability to maintain confidential information is of extreme importance. Strong work ethic and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills to all levels of management. Physical/Cognitive RequirementsWith or without accommodation:Ability to follow policies and procedures.Ability to read, write and interpret information.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.  Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Ability to lift/carry items less than 25 pounds.Working ConditionsGeneral office environment that is generally favorable.  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.  Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.ADAADA – FedEx Supply Chain will make reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
