Co Lead Teacher in 4s and 5s classroom

Profile

HOURS: 8 hour day including paid prep time, Monthly Staff Meetings with Dinner Provided and Special Events.

PREFERABLE:

• AA or BA in Child Development or
• BA in related field plus a minimum of 12 semester/18 quarter ECE units
• At least 5 years classroom experience
• Experience with team teaching
• California Child Development Teacher Permit or willingness to apply
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete
• Mandated Reporter Training or willingness to complete
• Team player and able to work with diverse groups
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Previous experience with child assessments and parent teacher conferences.
• Good observation skills
• Excellent conflict management and problem solving skills
• Willingness to learn new tasks and exhibit a "whatever it takes" attitude
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of working with young children
• Ability to be flexible and multi-task
• Proactive, resourceful, creative, willing to ask questions and follow directions
