Boxing-PB-MST 1st Shift Lead

Tasks: This position will function as an assistant to the department supervisor in the overall operation of the department and management of its team members, equipment, and efficiency. Applicant will promote and motivate teamwork within the department and provide a second degree of leadership to the Boxing/Pre-Blend/MST Lead Person department. This position will assist in resolving employee conflicts and concerns. Applicant must have excellent communication skills, mathematical skills, organizational skills, leadership qualities, and must able to perform all jobs in the department, conduct NTIS tests and obtain lock out training. Applicant will abide by Tyson’s good manufacturing practices, SSOP and health and safety policies. This position be exposed on a routine basis to adverse temperatures ranging from 40-60 F degrees, damp and wet. Applicant must be able to bend, climb, twist and lift at least 50 lbs.

Requirements:

Candidate must submit resume to be considered.

Must have 4 points or less or disciplines within the last 12 months at the time of application.

Education: High School Diploma or higher (Bachelors or Associate Degree) preferred.

Minimum one year of food processing experience in an FDA/USDA/HACCP/FSMA manufacturing environment or other regulated manufacturing environmental required.

Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen and post offer health assessment.
