Aon is looking for an Associate Broker for Aon Global Client Network – Greater New York Region As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions to help clients make better decisions. Aon’s Global Client Network (AGCN) is comprised of dedicated teams of risk advisors who are located in over 80 key locations throughout the world and who are charged with helping global organizations identify and manage various types of risks which impact their businesses. Our Aon Global Client Network New York team provides our multinational clients with counsel and advice, brokers Foreign Liability (general liability, auto and foreign voluntary workers compensation) and coordinates implementation and service of controlled global programs for P&C lines of business in collaboration with other broking groups. The team manages global market access and leverage which facilitate creative, innovative cross-border solutions, and thought leadership and knowledge sharing that empowers strategic global risk management engagement. Your impact as an Associate Broker Job Responsibilities:Responsible for servicing, and binding of accounts and accountability and oversight of billing, data entry and systemsAccountable for routine day-to-day account management and broking activities working within account teams, supporting Brokers/Senior Brokers with defined deadlines related to proposal and endorsement preparation, submission and data analysis or related to the placement and servicing of structured portfolio solutions.May facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings.May send requests for quotation to multinational carriers and be involved in negotiation, presentation, placement, implementation and service of controlled global programs.Manages daily communications with the Aon global network offices, and work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.Individual with knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical/ professional discipline.You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience:Effectively communicates market/industry perspectives and applications to specific client situationPossesses senior executive client communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written)Establishes credibility (knowledge/trust) with both clients and Account Executives (extensive internal network)Proven technical competency demonstrating capabilities to create innovative solutionsProperty & Casualty license or must have the willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire.Education:Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. Our Colleague Experience: From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.  They make a difference, work with the best, own their potential, and value one another.  This is the Aon Colleague Experience, defining what it means to work at Aon and realizing our vision of empowering human and economic possibility.
