Description

The Business Support Coordinator 2 follows established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support to an office, business unit, department, or other organization group. The Business Support Coordinator 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

The Business Support Coordinator 2 transcribes, types, formats, and proofreads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software. Coordinates internal and external meetings which may involve scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees, and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available.

Manages the appointments and schedules of applicable staff. Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, and printers. Additional responsibilities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Oversees & manages Business Continuity planning and exercises in support of leadership team. Engages with Strategy & Culture team on annual engagement and well being planning and activities.

Required Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, think on your feet and remain calm under pressure

Strong attention to detail: ability to manage many details related to coordinating calendars and schedules, follow-up requests, travel-related planning, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook

Professional image: ability to build strong working relationships with people, internally and externally

Emotional intelligence: demonstrated ability to manage self around others and in difficult situations, remaining in control and professional at all times

Organized: ability to balance multiple initiatives, ability to manage multiple or competing priorities, and prioritize workload

Forward-thinking: ability to be pro-active and expect the unexpected

Previous Administrative experience with C Suite or related experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving provider experiences

Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Humana Waterside office (see address below) to be considered.

If you are located within 50-mile radius of the Humana Waterside office (see address below) this role will resume as a hybrid of remote and in-office work once CDC restrictions have lifted.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors Degree

Ability to create/design PowerPoint presentations with input/direction from Senior Leadership team

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Previous administrative or related experiences

Experience with Internet research and proof-reading and editing

Additional Information

COVID Vaccination Policy:

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.

This role is either IN OFFICE or HYBRID (Work from home/In Office)

Work at Home Requirements

o Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x2 (25mbs download x 2mbs upload) is required.

o A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
