Profile

Event Production Manager
The candidate will produce and direct complex Firm productions for in-person, hybrid and virtual events across the U.S. and globally. Create and execute production project plans including timelines, budgets and manage event production agencies, and other resources as required to complete projects on time and within budget. Gather technical requirements and conduct pre-event testing and configuration onsite and on digital platforms. Manage the Firm’s webinar strategy. Provide creative input to event content providers including Business Development, Marketing, and attorneys from the Legal Practice Groups. Oversee Cvent vendor relationship including event content uploads and integration including text, images, audio, and video for the Firm’s mobile apps. Perform event day production including rehearsing presenters where required, and monitoring and managing break out rooms and virtual waiting rooms. Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues, propose solutions and maintain composure and flexibility in stressful, deadline-driven situations. Set and maintain Firm production quality standards; conduct necessary communication and coordination with vendors including vendor selection, contract and pricing negotiation, and vendor management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital event technologies, production industry trends, and competition. Should have a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related work experience. Advanced knowledge and experience with Cvent, Zoom and Zoom Events. Advanced knowledge and experience with lighting, audio, video, and technical direction of live events. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Ability to work independently under own direction and initiative. Ability to travel within the U.S. and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours.
