The Senior Financial Reporting Professional prepares and distributes periodic financial statements for users other than those directly employed by the organization. The Senior Financial Reporting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Reporting Professional ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies. Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions and consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts in a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

3 years of experience in forecasting, statistical analysis and reporting

3 Experience with profit/loss statements, budgets, variance analysis

5 years strong experience working with MS Access and MS Excel (pivot tables, graphs/charts) - including Data modeling, macros, manipulation and Reporting

3 years experience with SQL

Ability to prepare and communicate trends to various partners and leadership

Strong presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree preferred

Actuarial experience preferred

Experience working in healthcare

Additional Information

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
