Law Firm Administrative Intern Program

Duties: Researching and summarizing various policies, wellness and benefits and compliance items, including new state legislation around breastfeeding accommodations; workplace opioid abuse; state legislation on new marijuana laws. Updating and automating New Hire Orientation presentations. Conducting research/competitive intelligence on financial wellness programs to assist the Firm in its efforts to support its attorneys and staff, culminating in a formal presentation of the findings to Firm leadership. Assisting with organizing key documents and information on the different types of employer-sponsored retirement plans and investment and savings vehicles. Helping prepare for and attend the Cook County Minority Job Fair to greet and provide information to Summer Associate candidates. Reviewing and inputting resumes into the Applicant Tracking System, as well as learning and assisting the Recruiting team with the full cycle of On-Campus Interviewing at over a dozen law schools. (Recruiting). Researching and preparing detailed background reports on peer firms and new clients. Reviewing and analyzing the listing methodology and visibility/reach of key law industry league tables.
