Our Brainerd, MN facility is now hiring for a Cross Dock Shuttle Driver. In this position you will drive an average of 2,000 miles weekly. You will drive from Brainerd, MN to Columbus, OH and return, leaving Wednesday at noon, returning Saturday at noon.
Job Summary: Drives and safely operates a truck with gross vehicle weight greater than 10,001 GVWR to deliver company transfers and customer orders, manually loads and unloads truck, verifies parts unloaded, obtains signatures from receiving location confirming accuracy of parts unloaded, and travels to and from warehouse to cross dock location.
For this position you must have:
A valid CDL Class A license with an acceptable driving record.
the ability to meet the DOT's testing and physical requirements.
Ability to be HAZMAT certified
Must be at least 21 years of age or meet the minimum age requirement to operate a commercial vehicle.
Physical Demands: This position requires individuals to occasionally be on their feet except when operating machinery, or Company vehicle. Should hot have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. They must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
