Legal Assistant
The candidate will perform general office duties, such as typing, answering telephones and operating a variety of office machines. Scan materials and upload supporting documentation into case management system or other designated locations. Sort incoming records by identifying, indexing and filing documents under their respective client and matter numbers. Provide administrative support to the legal team such as copying and faxing. Search for and investigate information contained in files, keep files current, and supply information from file data or remove files upon request. Assume responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all firm records and files. Perform other duties as assigned. High School Graduate or equivalent experience is required. Should preferably have 1-2 years in a busy office environment, prior law firm experience.
