Enterprise Core Engineering is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with domain knowledge of Software and DevOps to join the Secure Digital Transformation Environment (SDTE) project. The SDTE is a single, shared, and secure (isolated from Boeing Enterprise Network) development network accessed across all Boeing sites. For design, development, and test activities associated with software development, our customers require advanced cyber security though the Risk Managed Framework (RMF). In the SDTE, all development is performed on networks that are cryptographically separated from production and business support networks. Further, network security is monitored and all software entering the SDTE is scanned and reviewed to ensure compliance.

The SDTE minimizes the Software Development Environment standup costs for new programs as it relates to tool procurements & evaluations, process development, training, and IT infrastructure procurements. It includes a modern and integrated set of tools (with defined processes) that are industry proven and handle business variation, and it adds a large amount of automation resulting in higher software development productivity, reduced cycle-time, and higher First Time Quality (FTQ).

Position Responsibilities:

* This person will participate in documentation, integration and maintenance of complex process, tools and networks for software development and test, providing on-site support and guidance to local programs including MQ-25, TX, and Proprietary with regard to SDTE integration decisions.

* Serves as a consultant and external spokesperson for the organization; acts as subject matter expert.

* Leads and supports trade studies for new tools, integration with existing tools, and SDTE troubleshooting.

* Supports training of programs on best practices and Dev Ops tool set deployment.

* Must have experience with the following: - Agile Software Development Process - Windows - Linux. Experience with Atlassian tool stack, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory is preferred. Must have the ability to obtain a special access clearance and be willing to travel approximately 20 business days per year.
