Associate Legal Officer, P2
Duties : Reviews of a wide range of agreements and documents relating to the investment of multiple classes of assets in global public and private markets. Coordinates highly complex international investment transactions in sectors such as private equity, real estate and infrastructure. Interprets legal instruments and legislation as well as UN, UNJSPF and OIM rules, regulations and policies. Conducts legal research on a diverse range of assigned issues relating to investment management, pension funds and other areas of specialization using multiple research sources; selects relevant material, analyzes information and presents findings for internal review. Assists the Legal Officer in the review of legal documents, instruments, or other material; identifies important issues, similarities and inconsistencies, etc. Assists in the preparation of drafts of background papers, studies, reports, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
