Schedule/Shift: 0.001 PRN (Per Diem) - As Needed
Provides educational resources to patients and families considering Good Samaritan Hospital for birthing services.
Tours: Evaluates current tours and classes program, identifies opportunities for improvement in partnership with clinical team and peri-natal navigator and implements improvements. Provides tours 3 times weekly to mothers and families considering Good Samaritan for delivery, actively benchmarks program and compares the tour program at Good Samaritan to others both locally and nationally. Follows scripting and direction for touring as outlined by HCA. Assesses tours processes weekly and supports scheduling process. Assists the leadership team, supervisors and staff on an ongoing basis for patient satisfaction and patient loyalty to achieve organizational excellence in patient care. Researches best practices in the industry for review. Considers the organization's strategies and mission and works to provide supportive strategies and tactics that employ alignment with that mission.
Classes: Actively assesses classes offered for recent mothers and families at Good Samaritan alongside clinical staff including peri-natal navigator. Determines class content and community demand for type and duration of classes. Schedules and manages classes and ensures registration process is optimized. Proactively brings forth ideas and best practices for consideration. Promotes the growth and development of a patient and family environment. Works with leadership, physicians and staff to design program and improvement to support these initiatives. Visits with patients and families or health care providers regularly in order to maintain hands on knowledge of information and feedback. Engages new hires and current staff in orientation/on boarding that creates engagement surrounding patient satisfaction and loyalty. Actively participates in acquiring research information and articles targeting issues of healthcare facility choice and birthing/new mother classes and actively participates in the strategies that optimize patient care excellence.
*Education: *B.A. / B.S. preferred
*Experience: *0 Mos. – 1 Year
*Knowledge: *Effective communication skills required; experience at public speaking events required. Must possess high level problem solving andability to manage conflict. A skill in effectively managing patient relations is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
