Due Diligence/Transaction Analyst
Duties: Coordinate and manage site inspections for third party vendors and internal stakeholders. Track, review, abstract, distribute, and file environmental reports and other transaction documents, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, ALTA Surveys, Certificates of Insurance, leases, contracts, etc. Collect and index due diligence provided by sellers and obtain missing materials. Manage the life cycle of transactions from due diligence to close of escrow. Proactively correspond with all transaction parties, including the Investment team, outside counsel, title companies, and governmental agencies. Liaise with other departments to ensure thorough capital budgeting and seamless property transitions. Expedite and ensure the resolution of all conditions required to close a transaction (title, survey, environmental, inspection reports, closing documents, etc.). Maintain detailed checklists, as well as prepare and distribute status updates. Ensure quality of deliverables by maintaining a strong attention to detail. Compile and confirm commission, invoices, and accruals for processing and payment through the accounting department and ensure timely payment, as well as resolve billing issues. Manage electronic document file system, maintain transaction database, and perform various administrative duties. Assure that day-to-day tasks and processes are followed to keep transactions and projects moving forward. Analyze existing processes and procedures for efficiency and redundancy and recommend improvements. Assist with developing department training, best practices, process manuals, etc.
