A law firm in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with 0-3 years of experience, preferably with a demonstrated interest or experience in employment law. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling employment-related litigation matters, providing legal counsel to clients, and representing their interests in legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Handle employment-related litigation matters, including cases related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
• Represent clients in employment law cases, advocating for their rights and interests.
• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and investigations to support client matters.
• Draft, review, and edit legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop legal strategies and solutions in employment law cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on employment-related issues.
• Maintain organized case files, documentation, and client communication.
• Stay updated on relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Assist in the development of legal memoranda, reports, and case summaries.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of legal experience.
• A demonstrated interest or experience in employment law.
• Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
• Active Bar membership in the state of Indiana (or eligibility for admission).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a legal team.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Indiana (or eligibility for admission) is mandatory for this role.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
