John Lewis Fellowship
The Fellow will support up to a full year of purposeful legal projects promoting the safety and wellbeing of low-income individuals. Will work on various initiatives which will help identify and provide solutions to problems which have affected the poor and disadvantaged resulting from the COVID 19 pandemic. Projects will focus on analyzing data and the effects on clients housing, safety, income, benefits, education and other goals established by the Fellow and mission of the organization. Should be a graduate of law school. Admission to Bar or willingness to sit for Bar exam is required. Commitment to public interest law is needed. Experience working with low-income population a plus. Strong legal writing and communication skills are essential. Should have deep social and humanitarian concerns and a demonstrated willingness to devote their time and efforts to the betterment of society's most vulnerable citizens.
