Duties: Interact with business development unit to determine customer requirements. Support new business opportunities through the identification of new suppliers and the initiation, review and approval of required contractual agreements. Evaluate long term business demand to determine equipment, material and capacity requirements for suppliers. Utilize the ERP system to communicate and track re-order points and ensure material availability and appropriate safety stock levels are maintained. Establish metrics and risk assessments to track and monitor supplier performance, identify correction actions where needed and actively communicate status to stakeholders. Collaboratively work with the supplier to troubleshoot and identify solutions for any identified supplier related issues. Support the implementation of new technology and materials as it relates to required documentation, contractual obligations and supplier interactions. Interact with suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement to support future growth. Support the identification and implementation of alternate supplier’s for critical materials. Support and improve the functionality of the ERP system through the maintenance of master data an utilization of reporting functions. Perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques and utilize training, common experience or working knowledge related to the tasks performed. Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements for cellular and gene therapy products. Utilizes clear and concise communication to ensure high productivity and contribution to the success of department goals. Limited travel may be required. Has business acumen and considers business impacts in planning and problem solving. Other duties as assigned.
