Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for the Pre College-Advisor, New Student Center position.  The Pre-College Advisor provides support and guidance to prospective and newly admitted students by facilitating their enrollment and ensuring these students have the best opportunity to achieve their educational goals while assisting them with their admission and matriculation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides pre-admissions advisement to prospective and newly enrolled students
• Assists students with residency and the financial aid process while resolving student admissions issues
• Provides admission, assessment, registration, and program information
• Uses caseload management technologies to communicate and provide proactive advising to students
• Participates in recruitment activities and workshops
• Coordinates career themed events in collaboration with faculty and staff
• Works collaboratively with high school leadership to develop an annual action plan
• Assists students with clarifying their career pathway and selecting a program of study

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in higher education or related field and three (3) years of related experience
