SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

The Workday Functional Specialist will manage and oversee configuration primarily for HCM and related areas. This particular Specialist position will also focus heavily on the areas of Advanced Compensation and Talent & Performance in addition to Human Capital Management.. The person in this role will be completely hands-on and will work as a team member supporting Workday for the entire global workforce. Ideally, this person will have certifications in HCM and at least one of the following: Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, and/or Report Writer.

Responsibilities include:

Leading new initiatives to add configuration relevant to Pure Storage's expanding business needs

Help solve Production-support requests to cover data corrections, new report needs, and security updates

Be capable of leading annual review cycles and annual compensation processes

Have a strong knowledge in Workday's reporting capabilities, business process framework, and security infrastructure

Assist the Workday team in interfacing between Pure Storage's other related departments, notably the Human Resources team, in configuring and testing updates that may be needed to existing configuration

Stay up to date on cyclical Workday releases

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

6 years functional experience with Workday HCM module as well as experience on Advanced Compensation and Talent & Performance module

Experience partnering with HR to develop business requirements and solutions

Strong oral and written communication skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Preference for certifications on Workday HCM modules

This position will start remote, with the expectation to frequently work onsite at our Mountain View, CA HQ offices once employees return to the office.
