The Warehouse Analyst
role is responsible for the replenishment of Warehouse inventory and providing guidance, analysis and support related to the Materials Management processes for Bayway Refinery.
Responsibilities May Include:
Managing stock replenishment requirements including coordination of stock repairs with buyers/end-users.
Supporting and contributing to the site Procurement agenda by applying advanced inventory management analytical tools and techniques.
Communicating openly and with integrity with business stakeholders to align direction between Procurement and site strategy.
Networking and developing working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across site Procurement teams and business groups.
Influencing key business stakeholders regarding results of inventory management analysis.
Complying with relevant standards and policies and minimizes risk and cost exposure.
Acting as Compliance Coordinator
Backfill for Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
Materials Management Responsibilities:
Daily review of stock replenishment requirements.
Coordinating of stock repairs with buyers and end users.
Administering changes to inventory setting upon request.
Troubleshooting issues related to Materials Management systems and data.
Working with Master Data Management team to update material master data.
Assisting end users with the set-up of new stock/non-stock material masters in SAP.
Performing inventory and stock analysis to identify continuous improvement opportunities such as vendor managed inventory, dead/excess stock reduction, and inventory/stock optimization.
Position Requirements
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Associates Degree
Valid Driver’s License
5 or more years of relevant experience in inventory analysis and/or materials management
Strong understanding of materials management tools, concepts and methods
5 or more years of experience with SAP Materials Maintenance (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM) and inventory management tools and systems
3-5 years of supervisory experience
Highly skilled at Excel
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred:
Proficient computer skills with experience in formulating reports and extracting data from various computer programs including SAP, Microsoft suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Customer focus - demonstrated ability to exceed customer expectations and deliver on commitments
Ability to analyze data and rationalize to decisions that add value to the business
Demonstrated understanding of financial impact and treatment of inventory for operational and capital projects
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present ideas in an organized manner
Proven track record of achieving objectives through effective collaboration and alignment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to “influence without authority” across multiple disciplines
Proven self-motivator who sets clear direction and priorities

The Bayway Refinery
is located on the New York Harbor in Linden, New Jersey. Bayway's facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, solvent deasphalting, hydrodesulfurization and alkylation units. The complex also includes a polypropylene plant with the capacity to produce up to 775 million pounds per year. The refinery processes mainly light and medium, low-sulfur crude oil. Foreign crude oil is supplied to the refinery by tanker, and domestic crude oil is supplied through a combination of rail and marine transportation. Within the refinery, Phillips 66 Partners has a rail receiving facility with 75,000 BPD of offloading capacity. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petrochemical feedstocks, residual fuel oil and home heating oil. Refined products are distributed to East Coast customers by pipeline, barge, rail car and truck.
