Job Details:

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicant is responsible for assisting Refrigeration maintenance supervisors with following and managing small projects, training and managing SAP system pertaining to specific areas of the facility. The position is responsible for operation of HVAC system while supplying air, steam, water to the facility. Willing to work in a safe, continuous, efficient operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration system, boiler system and both high pressure hot water systems, water softeners, and air compressors.

Applicants must be able to pass a Pulmonary Function Test to obtain medical clearance for SCBA use required in the department. Must have 1 year experience in Refrigeration Maintenance and be able to demonstrate hands on abilities and skills will be enhanced through computer based training modules to move up in pay scales. Must be willing to be a member of the Hazardous Materials Response Team and must complete all training required by State and Federal regulations. Must be able to develop, track, schedule Preventive Maintenance activities for equipment, piping, valve, etc. Required to work alternative work schedule on 1st shift with flexibility to go to any shift. Must have 6 months of continuous work history with a single employer in past 24 months to be considered.
