Position Profille:  Security


The successful candidate will lead all

aspects of physical security for NI’s headquarters, including managing staff in

3 shifts 24/7/365 securing 750Ksf of office space on 70 acres.  In addition to staff, the scope of responsibility

includes maintaining and upgrading access control system, cameras, video

storage, perimeter systems, and other technology.  Candidate must establish policies and

procedures to support an enhanced physical security environment and enforce compliance

of security staff, NI staff, and all visitors and contractors on site.  Best practices will be established and promoted

to all sites globally, working with international Facility managers on implementation

and accountability.  Within 3 years, the

candidate should be capable of managing NI security globally.

The candidate will also be the primary administrator of the Crisis Response

Program, coordinating among subject matter experts and relevant stakeholders to

develop and execute crisis response plans before, during, and after a crisis,

to ensure effective crisis management across the globe.

Roles and Responsibilities



Create and implement best practices across all

aspects of corporate security.  Bring

your vast knowledge of security services to rise NI to a center of excellence

in corporate security.Develop and implement enhanced security policies

that support current and future business requirements.  Expected to receive high level requirements

and implement greatly enhanced campus security.Hire and train all campus security staff in 3

shifts 24/7/365.  Staff will be highly

motivated, actively engaged, and able to respond to all security issues skillfully

and professionally.Be in service to NI management and staff at all

times.  Provide ad hoc safety and

security services related to staff requests, supporting HR as needed, and

executive security.Lead drills in high risk scenarios to ensure

security staff and NI staff are prepared in an emergency



Develop, implement, and maintain global crisis

management program including:Coordinating with cross functional team to

develop centralized communication plans and standard policies or procedures as

applicableEstablishing objectives, outcomes, activities

and strategies; and carrying out day-to-day tasks required to maintain the

programCoordinating and running tabletop trainings,

exercises, and drills Working cross-functionally as a trusted business

partner and administering the key aspects of the programWork with subject matter experts to prepare contingency and

recovery plans and manage resources during a crisis. Facilitate dissemination of communications with appropriate

stakeholders and ensure stakeholders are carrying out the crisis management

planDuring a crisis, play significant role in

coordinating the efforts of the Crisis Response Team (CRT) including working

with the relevant subject matter expert and communications team to facilitate a

consistent and timely response among all stakeholders

','!*!Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 10 years of professional experience in project management, crisis Management, business continuity, disaster recovery, global coordination, and/or emergency management 10 years of experience in law enforcement, security management, or military security10 years of experience managing people in a diverse geography, multiple shifts, 24/7 operations or similar complex staff management environmentExperience working on global teams and across varied functional areas Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel data management techniques for analysis and reporting Preferred Qualifications: Capacity to proactively monitor potentially impactful events and facilitate related mitigation and recovery effortsAptitude to comfortably facilitate and advance initiatives among stakeholders of all levels during an emergency or disruptionAbility to maintain discretion at all timesTraining or certification through an emergency management association or agencyCertifications or traditional experience in project management Experience developing and administering global training tools and programsEducation in public relations may be beneficialWillingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet Company needs and effectively communicate with a global teamCreative thinking with tolerance for ambiguity and ability to prioritize, organize and provide services to stakeholders Success Factors:Solve problems quickly and decisively; project confidence during chaosAble to make difficult decisions under pressure, using critical-thinking skills, and demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills to move toward a common vision or goal.Able to build relationships across regions and cultures in order to create practical and effective plans to be executed in times of crisis and for other broader initiatives.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
