Responsibilities: Analyze complex business and legal issues to provide legal services and advice across Maxar’s Sales and Product groups. Heavy involvement in all stages of the contract life cycle including intake, drafting, negotiation, execution, implementation, administration and termination of agreements. Support requests for proposals, develop contract positions and articulate the positions with supporting documentation to management. Address legal queries from business teams pertaining to various aspects of the law, the contract, and the customer relationship; including compliance, IP, and privacy. Draft and provide guidance/training on contract templates and procedures. Represent the Legal department in company-wide initiatives.
