Job Description
Omni Hotels & Resorts is looking for Hotel Content Specialist to assist in ensuring the Omni Hotel guests receive the best service possible when booking with Omni Reservation Center.  This in return helps maximize revenue generation for Omni Hotels and Resorts through timely and accurate information rates and information through the various distribution systems.

Update and maintain Property Information in all applicable systems such as Central Reservation System, Global Hotel Alliance, Global Distribution systems, DerbySoft, DHISCO and Sales Operations folders as well as applicable internet sites
Perform on-going quality audits to ensure Central Reservation System and external databases (such as Expedia, DHISCO, DerbySoft, etc) contain the same content
Administers Resort Service and Amenities fees on all relevant channels and audits for accuracy and revenue generation
Carries out additions, changes or deletion of taxes and fees in Central System content and on all relevant channels
Adjusts currency exchange rates weekly to allow associates to quote approximate costs to our international travelers
Provides copies of content to each property biannually for accuracy validation and updates all property descriptions as needed
Work closely on a regular basis with each property to ensure information is correct, up-to-date and the information assists Sales Associates in selling the specific property
Collaborates with the Sales Operations on training and follow-up related to property information challenges
As needed conducts focus groups with sales associates related to Central System content and best practices
Serve as primary contact for property information updates and promote positive and professional customer service to OmniRez internal and external customers
Primary Global Distribution Department contact for newly build hotels or new acquisition information
Initiate new property and property switch processes with Global Distribution Systems, DHISCO and DerbySoft, Global Hotel Alliance, processing switch letters, completing all initial shells and trackers needed for hotel creation
Deactivate property and process with Central Reservation System, Global DistributionSystems, DHISCO, DerbySoft, and all applicable internet sites


Demonstrated passion for the hotel and resort business
Previous hotel (or related industry) or call center experience a plus
Sound judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction
Receptive to coaching from management, responds positively with willingness to make changes when desired
Excellent analytical skills, including ability to adapt to highly complex changing work environment (ie. Technology and workflow) Attention to Detail is important
Excellent time management and record keeping skills
Must possess demonstrated excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills; listens to others
Must take initiative and be fully engaged \u2013 must be a self-starter
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and with a team both efficiently and effectively as well as exercising judgement to meet deadlines - Time Management
Opera Central System knowledge preferred
Global Distribution Systems, DHISCO and/or DerbySoft knowledge preferred
Technical aptitude and ability to interface with several computer systems at one time
Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who is organized, thrives under pressure and is able to handle multiple projects and priorities while working under pressure, still maintaining high attention to detail, \u201ccan-do attitude\u201d and the ability to maintain consistent accuracy; able to troubleshoot while still meeting or exceeding deadlines
Must provide excellent customer service; possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to identify problems as well as develop and present suggestion for improved business processes
May require irregular hours and availability to work overtime as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office and Windows
