The candidate will provide high-quality legal service to the firm’s clients, track all chargeable and non-chargeable time in keeping with the firm’s policies and standards, and participate in business development, seminars, trainings and meetings in keeping with their practice area and the firm’s policies and standards. Must have a J.D. degree from a top-tier law school. Must have a solid academic background. Must have 4-6 years of Capital Markets/Securities transactional experience, including substantive involvement in registered and exempt offerings of equity and debt. Must have experience with and background in public company reporting, disclosure and compliance, including 1934 Exchange Act reports (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks), proxy statements and Section 16 filings. Must be admitted in (and in good standing with) the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, New York or District of Columbia) or taking steps to become admitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
